Mark Palfrey

Managing Director, Guernsey

Mark joined the team in 2023 and is based in our Guernsey office. He trained as a Quantity Surveyor in Brighton before moving to Guernsey in 1992. He brings a knowledge of Channel Island construction and property maintenance having managed mulit million pound construction companies in Jersey and Guernsey as well as chairing a Channel Island facilities management company directly employing over 250 staff.

Mark is a Chartered Builder and previously chaired the Chartered Institute of Building Guernsey branch, he has twice chaired the Guernsey Building Trade Employers Association and has chaired the Jersey Builders Federation, which now forms part of the Jersey Construction Council.

Mark is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors, he has chaired the Guernsey branch of the IoD. Mark has also gained qualifications in Business Sustainability from Cambridge University.

Building teams and forming trusting relationships with clients are what Mark most enjoys and he is very able to offer advise on the most appropriate procurement routes, facilitating both strong financial oversight and quality assurance throughout all aspects of construction and property maintenance.

When not at work Mark can be found road running, looking for his lost golf ball or cheering on Brighton and Hove Albion football club.
