Andrew Morley

Biography
Andrew joined in 2020 following a merger between HLG and Lindum Consult, one of Guernsey’s foremost providers of quantity surveying and project management services. His role involves leading HLG’s presence in Guernsey, delivering both needs of existing clients and expanding operations to include HLG’s impressive range of specialist construction consultancy services.
Andrew boasts over 40 years’ experience in the UK and Guernsey construction industries and property development sectors. After studying at Newcastle Upon Tyne Polytechnic, his career took him into a diverse range of UK-based organisations, including Northern Regional Health Authority, BDB Group and Cambridge Trust. From these, he gained wide experience in a range of roles, among which were quantity surveying, project management and property development.
A search for new career opportunities brought Andrew to Guernsey more than 20 years ago. Involvement in numerous construction and development projects followed, working both for established local organisations and operating as freelance consultant. These included Healthspan Hotels in Guernsey and Alderney, various Comprop developments including a £3.5m refurbishment of Carey House, two large warehouses for Norman Piette Group, a waste processing facility for Guernsey Recycling Group and new build industrial units for Anfre Estates.
Andrew’s specialist experience includes commercial directorship, cost and project management. Along with his BSc, Andrew is a chartered quantity surveyor, chartered project management surveyor and full member of the Association of Project Management.
