Andrew Morley

Andrew joined the HLG Group in 2019. He manages some key client relationships and the Quantity Surveying aspects of the office. He enjoys getting involved with schemes at early stages and using his years of experience in development, costs and management to help clients take schemes through the development process to completion.

Andrew is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Project Management Surveyor and full member of the Association for Project Management. Since leaving Newcastle Upon Tyne Polytechnic with a BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, he worked initially in East Anglia and London with Private Surveying Practices and Building Contractors. He then worked for a Cambridge based developer before looking further afield and over the water to Guernsey for his next challenge. He worked for one of the first Design and Build contractors in the island and completed many successful projects including new doctors’ surgeries, offices, warehouses, and petrol stations. Following this period, he worked as a freelance consultant for various organisations such as Healthspan Hotels, Comprop and Island Waste carrying out Construction Management services on Hotels in Guernsey and Alderney, Offices and a new waste and recycling centre in Guernsey.

Andrew has been mentoring a student studying for a degree for the last two years and, in his spare time he enjoys gardening, fly fishing and regular trips to the UK to visit family and watch West Ham Utd in action.
